Create distance from sources of EMF radiation. The further you keep your cell phone from your head and body the better. If you are not using your cell phone, place it as far away from your body as convenient. Periodically getting up to answer phone calls and check text messages is beneficial for your body.
Keep cell phone away from reproductive organs. High levels EMF radiation has been shown to decrease fertility and testosterone levels in men. Animal models indicate that high EMF radiation during pregnancy can also affect fertility and may also increase the risk of behavioral problems such as ADHD and hyperactivity in children.
Give your body and brain an 8 hour break each day. Making your bedroom an EMF radiation sleep sanctuary has many health benefits. It allows various side effects of EMF, such as brain fog, waking up feeling tired, and mental fatigue to be reduced. It allows waste products created in the brain during the day to be flushed out. These and many others allow the body to have the benefits of deep and rejuvenating sleep.
Avoid using earbuds! Bluetooth earbuds deliver a high dose of harmful microwave radiation directly into the brain. This has a cumulative effect over time. Holding a cell phone against the ear delivers and even higher dose of harmful microwave radiation directly into the brain. In some studies there has been an association of localized brain cancers with cell phone use. We do not know yet if there will be an increased risk of brain cancers from the use of Bluetooth earbuds, however there is no downside for being cautious. Instead use ear buds with a cable. The low voltage electric field from the miniature loudspeaker in each ear is much less harmful since it eliminates the Radio frequency radiation being delivered to the brain. Better yet, there are ear buds with an “air tube”. They do not deliver microwave radiation or electric field radiation directly in the ear.
Avoid devices that produce “Dirty Electricity”. Dirty electricity, which is also called MEP (Microsurge Electric Pollution) can be very irritating to our brain and nervous system. A list of devices that produce “Dirty Electricity” can be found on the Education page.
Avoid wireless controlled smart LED light bulbs. These “smart” light bulbs produce microwave radio frequency radiation allowing control through your WiFi network.
Avoid smart devices and smart appliances. These devices produce microwave radio frequency radiation allowing you to control them through your WiFi network.
Use a wired mouse and keyboard instead of Bluetooth versions. A Bluetooth keyboard and mouse produce microwave radio frequency radiation that is in direct contact with your hands and the wired version do not.
Wired Ethernet provides maximum speed and security benefits.
Use wired Ethernet connections instead of WiFi connections. Using wired connections rather than WiFi will greatly reduce our EMF exposure. And when we use Ethernet, we also need to turn off the WiFi on our router, and turn off WiFi and Bluetooth on our computer.

Use wired Ethernet instead of WiFi for mobile electronics. We can make phone calls using many apps such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, and many others on our computers. However we cannot connect to the Internet and use our Apple IPhone for phone calls without using WiFi.
Use existing landline phone or use an Internet equivalent. I use an Ooma device which converts an Ethernet Internet connection into a regular land line phone service.
Use your cell phone wisely. If you need to use your cell phone throughout the day, it is best to keep it at least a few feet away from your body. In addition, you can place it in a device such as a wired cage, see product #1 in the Miscellaneous Products Section below. This product allows the phone to receive a signal and transmit a signal while greatly reducing your EMF radiation exposure.
Be cautious of miracle protection gadgets. Some companies sell various products as simple as a thin disc that claim to protect your body from the effects of the various radio frequency radiation. I am not aware of any published scientific research papers to support their claims. I cannot recommend these gadgets at this time.
